Download the reference material we use on the bench: the English edition of the Lishi 2-in-1 technical manual and the 2026 model-to-vehicle compatibility chart. Both files are free, need no account, and are written for working locksmiths — decoding procedure, wafer counts, cut-depth data, and the application list that tells you which tool to take to the car. Print them, keep them in the van, or search them on a phone at the door. If a vehicle is missing or a keyway looks unusual, message our sales team and we will match the tool for you.

PDF · 244 pages · 11 MB
Covers
All LISHI 2-in-1 tool models, automotive and motorcycle, plus the civil-lock models
Language
English (translated in full from the Chinese edition)
Best for
Learning the picking procedure, decoding a lock, cutting a key to measured depths
The complete technical manual: the tool and its reading panel, how automotive cylinders and wafers are built, the key families these tools cover, the four-step picking procedure, and a data sheet for every model in the range — applicable vehicles, picking direction, wafer count, depth codes, numerical data, key cutting and special techniques. Every photograph, cut-away and chart is reproduced from the original edition, with the Chinese callouts translated underneath each drawing.
Wafer counts, cut-depth values in 1/100 mm, bitting positions, key cutting data
Searchable
Yes — text, bookmarks and a clickable table of contents
The manual is the companion to the compatibility chart: the chart tells you which model covers a vehicle, the manual tells you how to read and pick that lock.

Also
Editable Excel version with the original Chinese row beside each translation
A single lookup table: 214 LISHI 2-in-1 models against the vehicles they cover, with the wafer or key construction that changes how the lock reads. Look the vehicle up, read the model number, then open that model's page in the manual. The 2026 edition includes the Chinese-market models that never reach Western catalogues, and flags the rows we still consider worth verifying against the vehicle.
Every row: the model code as engraved on the tool, the vehicles it covers, and a note on the wafer or key construction — for example “No main/secondary wafers” or “Graduated key”.
How to choose the right Lishi tool
Choosing a tool is a three-minute job if you work in the right order. Start with the key in your hand, not with the car's badge.
Step 1Identify the key family
Flat, inner groove or side groove — the blade tells you which half of the range applies. A flat key is edge-milled; an inner-groove key hides the cuts inside the blade; a side-groove key has the groove open to the side.
Step 2Look the vehicle up
Find the make and model in the compatibility chart. Several tools can cover the same make; the qualifiers — ignition, door, trunk, flush handle, model year — decide which one.
Step 3Confirm the model and its variant
Suffixes matter: R (right-hand), AT, v.2 / v.3, MINI, 02, direct read. The same car can need a different variant by year.
Step 4Read the data sheet
Open that model's page in the technical manual for picking direction, wafer count, depth codes and the special technique for that cylinder.
On this page. The English edition of the Lishi 2-in-1 technical manual is the first download above — a 244-page PDF covering the tool, the locks, the picking procedure and a data sheet for every model. No account or email is needed; the file opens in any PDF reader and the text can be searched and copied.
How do I find the correct Lishi tool for my vehicle?
Open the compatibility chart, find the make and model in the “Vehicles / applications” column, and read the LISHI model beside it — then check the suffix and the qualifier (ignition, door, trunk, year). If the vehicle is not listed, or two models look right, send a photo of the key to our sales team and we will identify it for you.
What is a Lishi compatibility chart?
It is a lookup table that maps each LISHI 2-in-1 model number to the vehicles it is intended for, with a note on the wafer or key construction that affects decoding. It answers “which tool do I take to this car?” — the manual answers “how do I pick and read it?”.
Are the Lishi manuals available in English?
Yes. The manual on this page is a complete English translation of the Chinese edition — all chapters, all 488 figures and all data tables. Where a drawing carries Chinese callouts, the drawing is left unchanged and an English legend is printed beneath it.
What do the notes in the chart mean — for example “No main/secondary wafers”?
They describe the cylinder, not the tool. “No main/secondary wafers” means the lock uses a single wafer set, with no separate master and secondary group to allow for when decoding. “Graduated key” means the key is cut to a graduated depth scale. The full glossary is on page 2 of the chart.
Do the downloads cost anything, and do I need an account?
No. Both files are free and public — no registration, no email capture. They are the same reference documents we use when answering compatibility questions.
How can I contact you for tool compatibility assistance?
Message Nancy or Vicky on WhatsApp using the numbers or QR codes below. Send the vehicle (make, model, year), a photo of the key and, if possible, the door cylinder — that is usually enough to name the tool in one reply.

Compatibility lists are a starting point: the same model name can carry different cylinders by trim, year and market — confirm the keyway before you buy. LISHI tools are professional locksmith instruments; use them only on locks you are authorised to open.
